The Lady Who Thought She Was A Cat

- Story of a Brand that didn't make it -
"A Lady's a Lady even if she could purr
Among humans or cats, she won't be accepted
Among humans or cats, she won't be respected
Same thing happened to the brand that lied
In the minds of the customers it died..."

Dear reader, this is just a metaphorical book...
It does not intend to have any reference to your brand (or you)
Any kind of similarity is by pure coincidence…
In that case, second thoughts about your brand are a must
There once was a Lady...
That lady’s name was Katy
She thought she was a cat,
Even her mirror told her that...
The Lady Kitty, did not stop there
While walking, she swung her hair
Oh! And how fun it was, to be a cat
To swing like this and sway like that
She walked the streets like a Feline,
As she thought she was unseen...
But wait, the lady did not stop there
Katy, did even more than swinging hair
She meowed and purred just like a cat,
Her body stayed lean and her back flat
But in the streets, there’s good and bad
And in the streets, you get stared at
From head to toe they looked at her,
As their hysteric laughs surrounded her
“The gloomy suburbs is where you belong,
The cats there will be your friends… so long!”
Poor Katy sat and cried, humans are mean
Yes, that’s how they have always been
Maybe a cats will make a better friend…
That’s what she thought, but at the end...
Cats could not accept a lady among them
Yes she meowed and purred just like them
But was it really enough for her to belong?
They grinned and chased her for so long...
And after a long run, the lady was gone
Nowhere to be seen, the chasing was done
And that was when it came to her…
A lady’s a lady even if she could purr
Among humans or cats, she won’t be accepted
Among humans or cats, she won’t be respected

Same thing happened to the brand that lied
In the minds of the customers it died…
A brand that pretends to be something it’s not
Will never make it, regardless of the chances it got
This book is dedicated to the cat on the cover (my nephew)
